HELP TO SAVE POIROT SERIES!

Next January 12, 2007, marks the 31-year anniversary of the death of Agatha Christie. What better Tribute to Agatha Christie than a special effort from her fans to save the wonderful Poirot series to complete her Poirot canon?
For those of you unfamiliar with the problem occours on this wonderful series:
The main sponsor
A&E (USA) have pulled out of investing in UK based films. The other company involved , PBS do not have the resources to fund the episodes.
Granada Television who is the UK channel which Poirot goes out on are making four "Miss Marples" instead as these are much cheaper.
There are still 12 books + 1 short story collection, 1 short story and 1 Stage Play of "Poirot" which haven’t been filmed yet, including "Orient Express"!!!!
Here below the list of all titles not yet filmed:
The Big Four
Murder on the Orient Express
Three-Act Tragedy
Appointment with Death
Mrs McGinty's Dead
Dead Man's Folly
Cat Among The Pigeons
The Clocks
Third Girl
Hallowe'en Party
Elephants Can Remember
Curtain
The Labors of Hercules (Short Story Collection)
The Lemesurier Inheritance (Short Story)
Black Coffee (Stage Play)
WE WANT EVERY SINGLE AGATHA CHRISTIE’S POIROT ADVENTURE TO BE FILMED WITH THE GREAT DAVID SUCHET.
PLEASE DON’T INTERRUPT THIS WONDERFUL SERIES! COMPLETE THE CANON!
JOIN THE CAMPAIGN ON JANUARY 12, TO SAVE POIROT SERIES TO COMPLETE THE CANON!
So, what's the plan? Write to A&E, GRANADA, PBS, CHORION and let our voices be heard! We want to bombard A&E, GRANADA, PBS, CHORION with letters all mailed on the same day: JANUARY 12, 2007, to honor the GREAT AGATHA CHRISTIE’S OPERA and this wonderful and very special POIROT SERIES. And overall David Suchet and his astonished portrayal of Poirot, he will be forever the most great actor in this role.
Poirot won two BAFTA awards in 1990, then had more BAFTA nominations as Best Drama Series in 1991 and 1992. This shows how prestigious the series are considered today.
While we're planning a snail mail campaign, feel free to send e-mails, too.
Please join us in our campaign, and tell all your friends.
Below, we've provided the addresses for the PRODUCERS, if you have more and fresh address, mail me or sign in the comment section.. in your letters please be polite.
Note: please remember to ONLY send them on JANUARY 12, 2007.

"If A&E continues to want to do them, then of course I’ll do more. It all remains to be seen whether they want to make more because now they have the option. It’s not with ITV—it’s not with England anymore. But it was really great coming back to the character.."
-- David Suchet --The Strand Magazine, April-July, 2002 --
"The last story, Curtains, is different from all the rest, and I'd love to do that eventually. He's in retirement, as thin as a rake, and he's crippled with arthritis - Dame Agatha REALLY wanted to kill off her creation, but her publishers wouldn't allow her to bring out the book until after her own death. And when he was killed off, the event made the front page of the New York Times - now you tell me which other fictional character has ever achieved that? Remarkable, isn't it! It IS somewhat daunting to know that you are creating, in the flesh, one of literature's most popular characters......... I've filmed all over the world, and you know, if you go into a bookshop, whether it is in Tunisia, Morocco, The Far East or where-ever, there's a Poirot mystery on the shelf somewhere".

" . . .The great comfort is that I once went to lunch with Ms. Christie's daughter Rosalind and her husband Anthony Hicks, and she revealed that she never thought that Dame Agatha had never thought that any previous Poirot was right, that most of them had all been too jokey. But that Mrs. Hicks thought that she would have approved wholeheartedly of what I do. The whole point is to serve Agatha Christie, and to get it right. And Mr. Hicks, bless him, gave me another vital clue. He said 'Never forget, we can laugh with Poirot, but never at him', and I think that's so true".
